Overview

Laura grew up in Belfast, Ireland. Since graduating from Royal Scottish in 2004, she has worked extensively in film, television and theatre, including the guest lead character (The Lady of the Lake) in 'Merlin', Violet in the ABC TV Series 'Missing', Sarah Kay in 'The Fall', Jenny Fraser in 'Outlander' for Starz and recently played the lead in the ITV series 'Beowulf'. Laura filmed the Stephen Frears Untitled Cycling Project in 2014. On stage Laura played Juliet at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and Woman 2 in Jez Butterworth's hit new play 'The River' at the Royal Court and on Broadway opposite Hugh Jackman.
