Overview

At just 16 years of age Scott Mackie auditioned and got in to Guildhall School of Music and Drama, starting the course at 17 he's one of the youngest people to have attended the school. Scott was awarded the Laurence Olivier Bursary in his second year at Guildhall, previous winners have included Ewan McGregor and Paterson Joseph. Scott played a number of lead roles whilst in training, including Richard II and Oedipus the King and wrote, directed and starred in his final performance piece. Since graduating he has landed a guest lead in a BBC 3 comedy pilot, a role in ZDF's new mini-series adaptation of a Cecelia Ahern novel and made his stage debut in Max Webster's hugely successful 'The Winter's Tale' at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh.
