Kieran Knowles

Overview

Kieran is co-artistic director of From Ground Up Theatre Company. He trained on the three-year acting programme at LAMDA and at Loughborough University, he has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company on their touring productions of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ and 'The Winter's Tale' directed by Lucy Bailey and performed the role of Dezzie in the UK Tour of Richard Bean's play 'Toast' which finished off playing in NYC. He established the role of Tommy in his own play ‘Operation Crucible’ directed by Bryony Shanahan at the Finborough Theatre, Sheffield Crucible and in NYC. Further writing credits include: ‘Chicken Soup.’ (Sheffield Crucible), ‘Comet’ (The Pleasance) and ‘31 Hours’ (Bunker Theatre).
